To sign up or log in to a Giftpur account, we ask you to verify your mobile number using a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS. We do this to keep accounts genuine and to prevent spam, fraudulent, and bot-created accounts on the platform.

Your mobile number is used for this verification, for order-related updates (confirmation, shipping, and delivery notifications), and for account recovery. We do not use your OTP or verified number to send unsolicited marketing messages without your consent, and OTPs themselves are single-use, time limited, and never stored in plain text.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and secure your account, including OTP verification;
• Process, ship, and provide support for your orders;
• Communicate order updates via email, SMS, or WhatsApp;
• Improve the Website, our product range, and your shopping experience; and
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, spam, or misuse of the platform.

We may look at aggregated, non-identifying trends across our users (for example, which product styles are most popular) to guide what we design and stock next.

You can opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or by messaging [email protected]. You may still receive essential, transactional messages (such as order and OTP updates) related to your account.
